Objectives
Our annual Youth Leadership Academy which is a unique offering unparalleled in the State of New Jersey. It builds off the principles of our Junior Academy in which the goal is to develop young adults with communicative, collaborative and mentoring skills through interactive activities and presentations that take place in a college environment on the Campus of Ramapo College. The YLA is a daytime five day academy (no overnights) designed to prepare our dedicated youth to succeed and become tomorrow’s decisive, disciplined and creative leaders.
The Youth Leadership Academy turns an ordinary summer week into an extraordinary adventure and turns seemingly unattainable challenges into very achievable successes.
Mahwah Youth Leadership Academy Target Audience
Applicants must reside in Mahwah and have successfully completed 7th grade in a public or parochial school.
